Quaker Valley Middle School Visit

Plan Your Visit

We catalog and maintain a growing archival collection of books, postcards, diaries, letters, photographs, scrapbooks, maps, artifacts and other memorabilia dating back to the 1800s.

Members will soon be able access an online selection of photographs and objects from our collection.

We welcome everyone who has an interest in the history of the Sewickley Valley to schedule a research visit. If you’d like to arrange for a group tour, please contact the Executive Director.

Make a Research Appointment

Structured office hours allow our staff to focus on cataloging, preserving, and sharing the rich heritage of the Sewickley Valley.

The use of our reading room and archives is a benefit of membership and member visits must be scheduled in advance.

If you are not a member, you can join for $25, and then make an appointment. Tell us what you’re researching, and we’ll prepare materials before you arrive for a more productive visit.

During your visit, we can provide:

  • A personalized experience
  • Reading room access
  • Historic photographs
  • Documents and maps
