Description

Each tote highlights a historic photograph of a Beaver Street business from the Collections at SVHS. Perfect for gift wrapping or getting a head of the plastic bag ban! Design B: Features Hegner’s-- With a presence on Beaver Street since the 1860s, first as a shoe shop, then as a harness maker and hardware store, Hegner’s was a Sewickley Valley staple. The store featured in this tote design dates to the late 1800s and still stands on the corner of Beaver Street and Hegner Way. Alterations to the building occurred over its long history, including the addition of a third story to what was then called Hegner’s Emporium (as noted in the story shared by John Poister), but the third story burned in the 1970s leaving the building that the Jewel Thief and the Sewickley Barbershop call home today. Tote Dimensions: 100% Cotton. W:15" Depth 4.7" H: 18.5" Price: $15 each (PA residents add 7% sales tax), plus $7.00 postage/handling
